From 26 December: Velká Úpa and Černý Důl open, night skiing every day

At SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC, skiing is currently available on more than 10 km of slopes across three areas – Černá hora, Pec pod Sněžkou and Malá Úpa. Snow depth on the slopes is approximately 50 cm. Snowmaking continues whenever day or night temperatures allow.

From Friday, 26 December, SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC will operate in five areas, with the addition of night skiing and evening sledging. The magical illuminated bobsleigh ride is open daily.

Pec pod Sněžkou

The widest range of open slopes is in Pec pod Sněžkou (5.2 km): Javor, Javořák, Lyžařská, Smrk, U potoka and Zahrádky. The Zahrádky Express four-seater chairlift is in operation, along with the Javor and Javořák lifts and the Javor LIVE Park with a covered conveyor belt for beginners.

Night skiing in Pec starts on Friday, 26 December, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will run daily until Saturday, 3 January.

From 26 December to 3 January, evening sledging will also take place daily in Pec, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Javor LIVE Park by the illuminated conveyor belt.

Additional slopes in this area are planned to open on Friday, 26 December or Saturday, 27 December.

The Relaxpark bobsleigh track is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Černá hora

On Černá hora, skiing is available on three slopes (3.9 km): Anděl, the lower section of Ford Černohorská and Hofmanky. The Černohorský Express gondola, the Anděl drag lift and the Hofmanky Express chairlift are in operation. For beginner skiers attending SkiResort Live ski school, the Kabinka LIVE Park is open at the lower station of the gondola in Janské Lázně.

Additional slopes in this area are planned to open on Friday, 26 December or Saturday, 27 December.

Skibuses and SkiTour

Main ski bus routes and daily city ski bus lines operate daily according to the timetable. The SkiTour ski transfer between Černá hora and Pec pod Sněžkou is currently out of service until further notice due to insufficient natural snow on the route.

Evening city ski bus lines serving night skiing in Pec will operate daily from 26 December to 3 January. This includes the city line within Pec for night skiing and the line connecting Velká Úpa with the Javor area in Pec.

Velká Úpa

The Velká Úpa ski area opens on Friday, 26 December. The Modřín slope will be open, with night skiing planned daily from 26 December to 31 December. From Saturday, 27 December, the LIVE Park with a conveyor belt at the lower station of the Portášky cable car will also open. The Portášky cable car will operate from Friday, 26 December, initially for pedestrians only, running every 30 minutes from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Černý Důl

The Černý Důl area opens on Friday, 26 December. The Family Express four-seater chairlift will be in operation, along with the Špičák and Veronika slopes. The Černý Důl LIVE Park will also be open from 26 December, including the Veronika lift and conveyor belt.
