Do you need advice on buying tickets or transport on the SkiResort lifts? Before you call our helpline, please see if the answer to your question is among the most frequently asked questions.

What time does the last lift run?

If a lift runs until 6pm, then it will leave for its last run at 6pm. It will take everyone who is currently on the platform to the upper and lower stations. The operating hours of each cable car vary. 

 

Does the cable car really run every half hour?

Every half hour we will check in all passengers who have a valid ticket and are on the platform. Once the platform empties, the cable car stops and then resumes operation at half past one. On busy days, if visitors arrive consecutively and the platform does not empty, the cable car runs uninterrupted. 

 

Do you transport your own electric bikes or regular bicycles on the cable car?  

All bikes are transported on the summer cable cars free of charge. The Černohorský Express transports bikes inside the cabins. On chairlifts, both bikes and e-bikes are suspended from the chairlift structure. For electric bikes, please remove the battery before transporting, this will make the work of our staff easier.

 

Are you transporting strollers or wheelchairs for a child or multiple children?

We transport strollers and prams free of charge. We can also transport larger strollers for two children. Both prams and pushchairs are transported in a cab or on a separate seat. Especially when transporting on the seat, it is necessary to remove any loose items from the strollers that could fall out during transport. Children must not be in the pram during transport. For smaller children, we recommend taking them in a carrier or a belly bandana.  

 

Do you transport dogs on cable cars? 

We transport dogs free of charge on all summer cable cars. The dog must be leashed and muzzled at all times during transport, as is normal on a bus or train. The owner is responsible for the safety of the animal being transported.

 

Does a group have to book a cable car ride in advance? 

Even larger groups do not need a reservation for cable car transportation as long as it is during normal operating hours. 

 

Can I book an extraordinary cable car ride? 

Outside normal operating hours it is possible to arrange an extraordinary cable car ride, which is subject to a fee. For more information contact obchod@skiresort.cz

 

What about transporting wheelchair users and disabled people 

Transportation of wheelchairs, including electric ones, is possible in the cable car. Thanks to the ramp at the lower and upper stations, we can also take customers with severe mobility limitations up the Black Mountain. The transport of an electric wheelchair must be reported to the operator on arrival for departure. Transportation of the wheelchair is free of charge. We do not provide discounted fares for disabled card holders or their escorts.

On chairlifts, we only transport regular non-powered wheelchairs, where the wheelchair is taken out on a separate seat. However, the disabled person must be able to get on and off the chairlift on their own.  

Customers with a Disabled Persons Card do not receive a price reduction on fares or parking. There is also a charge for transporting an escort.  

 

Do small children have to pay the cable car fare?

Children under 6 years old ride for free, specifically those born in 2019 or younger. They do not need a ticket to ride, they use the children's entrances to enter the paid area. 
 

How many cable cars are there?

The Černohorský Express cable car has 8 seats.
The seat of the Portášky cable car has 3 seats. It is not possible to carry more people on it, even in case of babies in carriers or dogs. The Hnědý vrch chairlift has 4 seats. They cannot carry more people, even if they are babies in carriers or dogs.

What is the validity of summer tickets? 

Tickets purchased at the ticket office with a staff member are valid only on one specific day, according to the customer's wishes. 

A two-way ticket bought at a ticket office with a staff is valid for 8 days. The last day of validity is printed on the ticket. During this period (8 days) the ticket must be used for both up and down journeys. Each of the rides can be made on a different day. 

Tickets purchased online at skiresortcard.cz or at self-service ticket offices sKiosks can be used after the date specified as the validity day during purchase (not before), i.e. at any time during the summer season. 

For two-way tickets purchased online or at the sKiosk, the first ride can be used at any time during the summer season, but the return journey must be made within 8 days of the first ride.

 

Mobile fare - where can I find it?

When you buy tickets online at skiresortcard.cz, you will receive an order confirmation in your email. In it, under ‘View ticket’, you will find the barcode of the ticket. Simply attach it to the turnstile at the entrance to the cable car. Individual rides cannot be uploaded to the smartcard. 

 

What is the validity of the 10+1 bobsled ticket

The validity of the ticket is 14 days from the date entered when purchasing.

 

Is registration required for online purchases? 

You can purchase individual rides without registration. EnjoyCArd and SummerPASS only with registration. Registration can be expedited by connecting with your Facebook account or Google account.

When purchasing at the sKiosk, you will receive a ticket in the form of a barcode printed on the receipt, the price of the ticket is the same as when purchasing at the ticket office with an attendant.

To purchase an EnjoyCard, registration in the SkiResortCard.cz e-shop is required. When purchasing online, be careful when entering the first day of EnjoyCard validity. From this day onwards, the EnjoyCard is valid for another 3 days. The EnjoyCard is loaded on the chip card.

 

What is EnjoyCard?

The EnjoyCard is a 4-day summer card that includes unlimited rides on the SkiResort lifts, one entry to the Treetop Trail and the Aquacentre with wellness in Janské Lázně, 3 rides on the bobsled in Pec pod Sněžkou and entry to the Monkey Park rope centre in Pec.  You can also enjoy mini golf, the Children's Park Cabin or Emil's Forest World in Janské Lázně.

The EnjoyCard is recorded on a plastic card with a chip (just like the winter ski pass), which you use to pass through the turnstiles at each attraction. Be careful when buying online, the validity is 4 consecutive calendar days. When purchasing, you choose the first day of the EnjoyCard validity. From this day onwards, the EnjoyCard is valid for a further 3 days. 
If you don't have a chip card, that's fine. You can purchase it online and pick it up on the spot from one of the sKiosks, vending machines.

What about the validity of the EnjoyCard at attractions? 

You can only redeem your EnjoyCard on the Treetop Trail once per validity period, not every day. The same is true for other attractions.

 

How do I purchase an EnjoyCard for my family?

After logging into your account, add as many EnjoyCards as you need to your shopping cart. Assign each card to a member of your account. 
If you don't already have a SkiResort Card (plastic cards with a chip), you can purchase them as part of your online purchase and collect them on the spot from one of the vending machines, sKiosks.

 

Where can I pick up my EnjoyCard or summer season pass, where are the summer sKiosks?

sKiosks are self-service ticket offices and vending machines that can be found throughout the SkiResort. You can pick up your EnjoyCard or Summer Season Pass purchased online by entering the code. 
sKiosks can be found at:

* at the bottom station of the cable car in Janské Lázně and at the top of Černá hora,
* in Pec pod Sněžkou at the lower station of the Hnědý vrch cable car, at the lower station of the Javor ski lift and on the bobsled in Relaxpark,
* in Velká Úpa at the lower and upper station of the Portášky cable car.  
 

 

What if I want an EnjoyCard for a child under 6 years old? 

Children born in 2019 and younger ride the SkiResort's summer lifts for free. If you still want to buy an EnjoyCard for a child this young, please select the category Small child.

 

Where can I buy a chip card?

You do not need a chip card before purchase. You can only get it as part of your online purchase. If you still want to have it in your hand beforehand, it can be bought at the ticket office with the attendant at the lower cable car station in Janské Lázně. The chip card costs 50 CZK and is non-refundable.

 

Can I buy multiple online tickets at once? 

Yes

 

What does the SummerPASS offer?

It is actually a SummerPASS. You can ride all the lifts of the SkiResort (the cabin lift to Černá hora, the chairlift Portášky and the chairlift Hnědý vrch) without restrictions until the end of October. You can also take it unlimitedly to the Treetop Trail in Janské Lázně.  The season pass is non-transferable, it can be used only by one person. It is sold in the age categories adult, junior and child and young child. Purchase is only possible online.

What is the validity of season tickets and Czech ski passes?

The year-round season ticket + Krkonoše Trail is valid until the end of the summer season, i.e. until the end of October.  
The Czech ski pass in the basic version is not valid in SkiResort in summer.  

 

What is the SkiResort Card for in summer?

If you buy it online, you can buy an EnjoyCard or a SummerPASS.

 

Ticket offices

In summer, only the ticket office in Janské Lázně by the cable car is open in SkiResort. This is the only place where you can pay for your tickets in cash, we issue duplicates of lost or forgotten cards and will be happy to advise you on your purchase.

In Velká Úpa at Portášky there is only a self-service ticket office "sKIOSEK" . Payment is only possible with a regular credit card or Benefit plus card. 

In Pec pod Sněžkou at the Hnědý vrch cable car there is no manned cash desk, only a self-service "sKIOSEK" cash desk. Payment is possible only by regular credit card or Benefit plus card. 

In Pec pod Sněžkou in Relaxpark and Monkey Park there is a cash desk with service, payment is possible by credit card and cash. There is also a self-service ticket office "sKIOSEK" in Relaxpark, where you can buy 6+1 and 10+1 tickets.

Tickets for all our cable cars and Relaxpark can be purchased at a DISCOUNT online. Purchase is possible at any time, but no later than 15 minutes before the planned use of the cable car or bobsled. Purchase is also possible without registration.

 

Parking

Parking 

Is it possible to park at the SkiResort with a caravan? 

No RVs are allowed in the SkiResort parking lots, even for overnight parking. The nearest caravan park is in Čistá in Černý Důl and Dolce in Trutnov.

 

Is it possible to park for more than one day? 

A car can stay in the car parks operated by SkiResort for more than one day. There is a charge for parking.

In the summer season we do not offer discounts on the Innogy card.

Krkonoše Card Krajiny pod Sněžkou

With the Krkonoše Card you get a 10% discount when buying EnjoyCard and with the Citizen's Card you get a 10% discount when buying summer season tickets online. The unique number of your Krkonoše Card must be entered in your SkiResortCard.cz account details. Instructions here
 

ZTP

Customers with a ZTP card do not receive a price reduction on fares or parking. Transportation of the accompanying person is also charged.

Lost and Found

Scooter rentals and bikes

Online reservation isn’t available — does it mean there are no scooters left?

Online reservations must be made at least one day in advance. If you want scooters for **today**, online booking is no longer possible. Don’t worry — there are usually enough scooters available directly at our rental shops.

 

Can I pick up my scooter at a different location than the one in my online booking?

Yes, it’s possible. Please note there is a **CZK 100 fee per scooter.

 

Two people on one scooter?

Riding two on one scooter is not allowed. Each scooter is designed for **one person up to 120 kg. Children from 6 years can handle the smallest scooters just fine. With younger kids we recommend visiting our parks, where everyone will have fun.

 

Will my child manage a scooter ride?

We don’t doubt your child’s skills, but remember that a downhill scooter ride requires a certain level of fitness. Most routes go downhill. If your child already rides a scooter or bike at home and can brake safely, go for it. We rent scooters to children from 6 years.

 

What if I get lost or have a flat tire on a scooter/e-bike?

There’s a tag on the handlebars with a direct phone number to the rental shop. Call us and a technician will come to you and fix the issue.

 

Can I rent in one shop and return in another?

Yes, you can return scooters to any open SkiResort Live rental.

 

What do I need to rent a scooter?

A valid ID is required. Each scooter is rented with a helmet (included in the price).
The last rental is possible 1 hour before the rental’s closing time.

 

I don’t know where I booked my scooter — how do I find out?

After payment you received a payment confirmation email, then a second email with a summary of your rental, including the pickup date and pickup location.

 

Can I change the pickup location of my reservation?

I need to extend my rental / I won’t return on time — what should I do?

If you return the scooter late, you’ll be charged the difference upon return. If you want to **extend** your rental, call +420 734 153 153

 

What types of scooters do you have?

We offer scooters suitable for off-road riding as well as for city riding.

 

Can I rent e-bikes for multiple days?

Yes. You can leave the e-bike with us overnight for charging and pick it up ready in the morning, or we can lend you a charger.

 

Is there a deposit for scooters/e-bikes?

No deposit for scooters. For e-bikes: CZK 5,000 (hardtail) or CZK 10,000 (full-suspension). The deposit is paid in cash or as a card pre-authorization.

SkiResort Card

What is SkiResortCard?

It’s a loyalty program whose benefits are available only to registered users. Perks include the option to purchase services at reduced prices and access to exclusive products. Registration can be sped up by linking your Facebook or Google account.

 

How do I add the card to my account?

If your chip card didn’t link to your account after picking it up from the sKIOSK, you can add it later in your user area under “My account.” .

 

Where can I find my card number?

It’s printed on the SkiResortCard just below the barcode. It does not contain hyphens

 

What is the chip number?

It’s the unique number of the chip inside the card. It is long and contains hyphens. It’s required for purchasing a ski pass or a SummerPASS. The chip number is filled in automatically in your account after you enter the card number during registration.

 

What are the advantages of buying online?

No waiting in lines at manned ticket offices.
Up to 30% off** compared to purchases at a manned ticket office.
Some products are online-only.
Shop comfortably from home — or even from your car.

 

Can I buy multiple ski passes or an EnjoyCard in one order?

Yes. If you want to buy for multiple people, create your "Family” in your SkiResortCard account. For each family member, fill in name, surname, date of birth, and optionally the SkiResortCard number. Then simply assign a name to each product in the cart — done.

Minigolf

The minigolf opening hours at Formánky in Janské Lázně match the opening hours of the Formánky Pub. Entry is free. Clubs and balls can be borrowed at the pub.
For group requests outside opening hours (e.g., company events), arrange it directly at the Formánky Pub or email sykora@skiresort.cz.
 

 

Monkey park

The large course in Monkey Park takes about 1 hour, the small course about 30 minutes. The park is not suitable for children under 110 cm. If it’s raining, we cannot allow entry for safety reasons.
