The summer holidays are ending, but the mountain adventures are not. What will be open at SkiResort

The summer holidays may be behind us, but the warm days of early autumn are calling for more mountain adventures. The eastern Krkonoše Mountains will be quieter and more colourful in September, allowing you to enjoy even the most popular trails without the summer crowds. All three SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC cable cars will continue to operate, along with children’s parks, the alpine coaster, the rope park and mountain scooter rental shops.

All three cable cars will take you up to the ridges

The Černohorský Express gondola will operate every day in September from 9:00 to 17:00, departing every 30 minutes. It will take you from Janské Lázně to Černá hora, where you can visit the Černá hora Peat Bog or combine your trip with the Krkonoše Treetop Walk and a visit to the bears Alice and Michal.

The Portášky chairlift will operate daily until 13 September from 9:00 to 16:00. Afterwards, it will run at weekends and on Monday, 28 September, every 30 minutes. The Pecka Play Landscape awaits you next to the upper station, or you can continue via Růžohorky towards Sněžka.

The Hnědý vrch chairlift will operate at weekends in September and on 28 September from 9:00 to 16:00, every 30 minutes. Next to the upper station you will find the highest lookout tower in the Krkonoše Mountains, offering one of the best views of Sněžka.

Ride down from the ridges on a mountain scooter

Extend your cable car trip with a ride on a mountain scooter. On Černá hora, you can hire one next to the upper station of the Černohorský Express and choose from several routes leading down to Janské Lázně. Along the way, you can stop at the Krkonoše Treetop Walk and visit the bears Alice and Michal.

From Portášky, you can ride back to Velká Úpa or continue via Pec pod Sněžkou. Hire your scooter next to the upper chairlift station and return it at one of the SkiResort Live rental shops in the valley.
