40 km of slopes and night skiing until January 11th.

15-25 cm of snow fell in the Eastern Giant Mountains before the weekend, which also allowed us to open new slopes. Currently, there are 40 km of slopes on 1 ski pass in all areas of the SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA - PEC, i.e. on Černá hora, in Pec pod Sněžkou, in Černý Důl, in Velká and Malá Úpa and in Svoboda nad Úpou.

We have added new slopes in the areas of Černý Důl, Svoboda nad Úpou and Černá hora, where on January 6th, for example, the Pod kabinou slope was opened in its full length (2600m). The longest slope Ford Černohorská (3km) is also open.

About 80 kilometers of cross-country trails are groomed on the ridges, mainly on Černá and Světlá hora, above Pec pod Sněžkou, above Velká Úpa and Černý Důl.

We have strengthened the skibus lines and the SkiTour ski crossing.

In Pec pod Sněžkou on Javor, in addition to daytime skiing, there is also night skiing from 6 p.m. daily until Saturday, January 11th. Every day we also add early evening sledding at the illuminated magic carpet in the LIVE park Javor, where there is a free sled and seat rental. Skiers can go to Modřín in Velká Úpa in the evening on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

On Wednesday, January 8th, skiers can go night skiing on Protěž in the Černá hora area for the first time. The slope is the longest illuminated track in the Czech Republic and is served by a chairlift. At its lower station, the Canteen&Restaurant with a cozy fireplace and a selection of burgers and great pizza is open during the evening skiing.
Night skiing on Protěž will be available on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and a ski bus runs from the central car park to the slope during the evening skiing.

The Relaxpark toboggan run in Pec pod Sněžkou is open daily until 7 p.m., which after dark turns into an illuminated Magic Ride with a series of 2D and 3D models of animals and fairy-tale characters, which are also illuminated. All this adds a magical atmosphere to the ride on the 900-meter-long toboggan run.

We recommend the Portášky chairlift in Velká Úpa to hikers, which has its upper station at an altitude of 1062 meters above sea level. You will reach the ridges without waiting, enjoy beautiful views along the way and from the upper station it is only a short distance to Růžohorky, Sněžka, or an interesting route to Pec pod Sněžkou.
