For the weekend, we are adding more ski slopes and evening skiing – skiing is available in 3 areas

At SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC, skiing is currently available on more than 10 km of slopes across 3 areas – Černá hora, Pec pod Sněžkou, and Malá Úpa. Snow depth on the slopes ranges from 40 to 60 cm. Throughout the resort, we continue to take advantage of daytime and nighttime frost for snowmaking. Evening skiing starts on Friday, and skibuses begin operating on Saturday. From next Friday, 26 December, skiing will be available in 4 areas within SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC.

 

Pec pod Sněžkou

The widest selection of open slopes is in Pec pod Sněžkou (5.2 km): Javor, Javořák, Lyžařská, Smrk, U potoka, and Zahrádky. The Zahrádky Express quad chairlift, Javor and Javořák ski lifts, as well as the training LIVE Park Javor with a conveyor belt, are in operation.

In Pec pod Sněžkou, evening skiing starts on Friday, 19 December, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. After dark, skiing on Javor 2 will take place on Friday 19 December and Saturday 20 December, and then daily from Friday 26 December until Saturday 3 January.

From Friday 26 December to Saturday 3 January, evening tubing will also take place daily in Pec pod Sněžkou, always from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in LIVE Park Javor by the illuminated conveyor belt.

The Relaxpark bobsleigh track is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Fridays until 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday, 20 December, due to the Magical Ride lighting event, until 8:00 p.m. From 21 December, the bobsleigh track will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
 

SKI PASS FOR PEC POD SNĚŽKOU

Černá hora

From Saturday, skiing on Černá hora is available on 3 slopes (3.9 km) – Anděl, the lower section of Ford Černohorská, and Hofmanky. In operation are the Černohorský Express gondola, the Anděl ski lift, and the Hofmanky Express chairlift.

SKI PASS FOR ČERNÁ HORA 

 

This weekend, visitors can also enjoy a range of special events.

In Pec pod Sněžkou, Advent mulled wine  take place on Saturday afternoon.

 

Immediately afterwards, visitors can enjoy a festive programme connected with the Magical Ride lighting ceremony on the bobsleigh track in Pec pod Sněžkou, including a live nativity scene, Christmas workshops, roasting trdelník pastries, and a 50% discount on bobsleigh rides on that day. The programme starts at 5:00 p.m.
 

 

On Černá hora, Atomic and Salomon ski testing will take place on Saturday and Sunday, along with a ski sale with discounts of up to 70%.
 

Skibuses and SkiTour

Main routes and daily city skibus lines within SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC start operating on Saturday, 20 December, according to timetables. The SkiTour ski connection between Černá hora and Pec pod Sněžkou is currently out of operation until further notice due to insufficient natural snow on the route.

Evening city skibus lines serving evening skiing in Pec pod Sněžkou will operate on Friday 19 December and Saturday 20 December, and then daily from 26 December to 3 January. This includes the city line within Pec pod Sněžkou for evening skiing and the line connecting Velká Úpa and Javor in Pec.
 

Velká Úpa

The Velká Úpa area opens on Friday, 26 December. The Modřín slope will open, with evening skiing planned daily from 26 December to 31 December, weather permitting. From Saturday, 27 December, a LIVE Park with a conveyor belt will also open at the lower station of the Portášky chairlift. The Portášky chairlift will start operating on Friday, 26 December, initially for pedestrians only.

Malá Úpa

In addition to the existing Pomezky slope and Pomezky children’s park, the U Kostela 400 slope will open on Saturday, 20 December.

The Černý Důl area is preparing for the start of the season.
