The season starts on Friday, 28 November at Černá hora and on Saturday, 29 November in Pec

At SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC, we will open the ski season on Friday, November 28, in the Černá hora area. Nearly 10 km of slopes will be open in SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC for the weekend. Skipasses for the first skiing are available online at skiresort.cz from CZK 460.

Černá hora

The weather has been in our favor in recent weeks – it snowed and froze in the Eastern Krkonoše Mountains, allowing us to run the snowmaking system at full capacity. A record-fast season opening was made possible by the new water reservoir below the bottom station of the Hofmanky Express 6-seater chairlift, as well as by newly installed snowmaking equipment.

On Friday, 2.5 km of slopes will be open on Černá hora – the Anděl slope and the lower section of the Ford Černohorská slope. Skiers can enjoy a full descent from the top of Černá hora all the way to the bottom station of the gondola in Janské Lázně.

In operation will be the Černohorský Express gondola and the Anděl lift. The SkiResort Live rental shop at the bottom station building is open daily, and until November 30, you can bring your skis for a special 1+1 free service offer.

At the top of Černá hora, the FordBar will be open, and for the weekend also the Bistro & Restaurant Na lanovce.

5 km of slopes on Černá hora for the weekend

On Saturday and Sunday, we will open two additional slopes at Černá hora – Zalomená and Hofmanky. The heated 6-seater chairlift Hofmanky Express will also be in operation for the weekend.

In total, 5 km of slopes will be available on Černá hora over the weekend. Special early-season rates apply, with skipasses starting from CZK 460 when purchased online at SkiResort.cz.

The Javor and Javořák lifts will be running. For beginners, the large LIVE Park Javor with a moving carpet will be open, where the SkiResort Live ski school operates.

What happens after the weekend?

Skiing will continue in both areas after the weekend. In Pec, more than 4 km of slopes will remain open; on Černá hora, approximately 2.5 km will remain open starting Monday. We plan to add more slopes in both areas from Friday, December 5. We will update all information in the coming days.

In the other SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC areas, such as Černý Důl and Velká Úpa, snowmaking is in progress, and we plan to start the season there on December 20.
